Za kierowanie projektem Unii Europejskiej FW 6 DLARFID Prof. Aldona Dembinska-Kieć otrzymała nagrodę indywidualną „Gwiazdy Ramowe” Punktu Kontaktowego UE. Za uczestnictwo Katedry Biochemii Klinicznej CMUJ w licznych projektach UE Prof. A Dembińska-Kieć była nominowana do odznaczenia „Kryształowej Brukselki” KBK przy Ministerstwie Nauki w roku 2008. W roku 2010 dzięki znacznemu wkładowi Katedry Wydziałowi Lekarskiemu UJ CM, jako jedynej Uczelni medycznej w Polsce przyznano właśnie to odznaczenie.
